Yesterday night, I had my first time of horse racing at the Happy Valley on Hong Kong Island. Because I got a free ticket and beer coupon of a event, Turning Japanese.
Just like many tourists, I was so excited and exploring around. Standing near the course, feeling the speed of the horses. Beside, before the race, there is a circle walk of horses in the parade ring and let the visitors analysis the most updated condition. I stood very close to the circle and even can smell them <3
Out of topic, it reminds me the Zoopraxiscope and the Eadweard Muybridge's Galloping Horse, everyone who studies moving images and animation should know. I had seen real horse before, but til yesterday night, I saw the real running horses at this night, not a captured and broadcasted one.
The travelog, let me continue in the next post 😅
