Not just the spring, but of all seasons. The cherry blossoms are the star of Japan.
This is a yaeshidarezakura, or weeping cherry with more than 5 petals on the flower. It's a beautiful flower!
They are now nearly completely gone. But I have many thousands of photos of them to work my way through. Add that to the pile of thousands of photos from previous years. I think even if I left Japan tomorrow I would have enough Japan photos to process and share for the rest of my life.
@violetmed, this one looks a bit like the unknown flower you posted the other day I think. What do you think?
