8 THINGS TO DO WHEN EVERYONE TOLD YOU TO DIE

"No one commits suicide because they want to die."

"Then why do they do it?"

"Because they want to stop the pain."

I want to continually remind everyone that words are so powerful. It can bend or it can mend you.

We are now in a time where saying "f☆ck you, mother f☆cker, b☆llsh☆t" is nothing but an expression.Not just for adults but for kids as well.

They think swearing is cool. Insults, insensitive comments, and labeling are just jokes. Try to stop them and they will tell you how killjoy you are or worst they will tell you to "f*ck off."

Children is the hope of our future. It's a famous quote. I'm always hearing it since childhood. But every time I hear children and teenager throwing trash talk to each other makes me wonder what our future may hold.

During one of my speaking engagements with the young people, I told them to become more aware and more sensitive to the things that they are saying to their friends. Their friends might be laughing at their insults but deep inside they are already broken. Even you and me. We are carrying our own cross but we chose and learn to become stronger.

I use to visit online forums to share my thoughts and read interesting questions and answers from other people. During my visits, I always see this an alarming and disturbing question that keeps on popping up on my newsfeed:

"What would you do if everyone told you to die?"

I did try to neglect it for a few times, but earlier today as I visit the online forum, it pops up again in my newsfeed. As I was about to ignore it again, I remembered my previous post DIY: How to Prevent and Cope with Depression and the things people shared with me through the comment section, and I was like, I need to write something about this. I may save, not only 1 but a hundred or a thousand people who are asking the same thing. If I could save even 1 person through this post, then I'll be more than happy to write 1-3x a day so I could save 30, 60, or 90 people in a month. So let's get started.

ADOPTING THE RIGHT MINDSET

When someone told you to die, don't take it literally. Take it as a challenge. Associate the words "hope you'll die" or "go, kill your self" to "stop wasting your time on toxic people and start living your life with your real purpose."

When you successfully keep that in your mind, their words no longer affects you. It might affect you but in a positive way for every time they tell you "hope you'll die" or "go, kill yourself" what you'll be hearing in your mind is "stop wasting your time on toxic people and start living your life with your real purpose." Will it still hurt? No! It will become the sweetest and the kindest thing you'll hear. 😊😊😊

It was actually a trick for your brain. I've learned from Tony Robbins that you can trick your brain. What he said is if you are craving for a pizza but you want to lose weight, you need to associate pizza with disgusting things and the cravings will immediately stop. If you want to move on from your ex then associate him/her with disgusting things and the things you really hate. It might not be immediate as it is for food cravings, but it works! Already tried it in different things. 😉

LOVE YOURSELF MORE AND KNOW WHAT YOU REALLY WANT IN YOUR LIFE

When you accept and love everything about yourself, it is harder for toxic people to manipulate your life, your emotions, and your happiness.

As you can read in my newest post 6 Most Important Things for A Woman to Learn in Life. You will learn that loving yourself means you must not feed your mind with negative thoughts, and never allow toxic people and television brainwashed your beautiful mind.

In the process of loving yourself, you need to know what you want and what you don't want. You need to know who you want to become and you must learn how to turn difficulties into opportunities.

LIVE A HEALTHIER LIFE

Loving thyself means taking good care of our bodies. It means eating healthier foods, and it also means surrounding yourself with positive people and things.

Living a healthier life means creating a morning and evening routine. You can go for a walk or for a run. Remember that someone is challenging you so you need to be strong both physically and mentally. This kind of challenge is simple but it's not easy.

You need to be healthy especially if you have goals and plans in life. How are you able to realize your dreams if you're not healthy? And how will you enjoy your success if being healthy is the least of your priorities?

CULTIVATE THE GARDEN IN YOUR MIND

This means that you should not allow the weeds which are the naysayers and toxic people to grow happily in your mind. You need to uproot the weeds and replace it with beautiful flowers which are inspiring and success stories, motivational speech or articles.

You need to create a healthy morning routine such as deep breathing meditation; self-affirmations; visualizing your dreams; exercise; reading, watching and writing things that improve your personal growth. You can also create an evening routine such as yoga, gratitude writing, and writing for tomorrows to do list.

START TO KNOW YOUR DEEPEST WHY AND START SETTING GOALS

You already know what you want so it's time to ask yourself why you want it and how bad you want to achieve it. You don't need to do it in an hour or day. Take your time discovering your deepest why because it is really important for your success.

After knowing your why, you need to start setting goals. You need to do something every day to achieve it. Even if that means doing it for half an hour only or for 15 minutes. Just do it consistently, same time, every day. Doing this is more effective than doing it once or twice a week for hours.

IMPLEMENTATION AND TRACKING

Implement your goals and track it. Tracking your progress is the key to achieving your goals. If you will not track it, you will lose your focus on your goals. You might even forget what your goal is.

TRAVEL AS MUCH AS YOU CAN AND HANG OUT WITH YOUR GENUINE FRIENDS

As you travel, you'll discover something new about yourself. My friend travels when she's "soul searching." She said traveling and visiting beautiful nature really helps her a lot. And I must agree with it.

Traveling and good laughs with friends are fulfilling, especially knowing that you are always taking another step towards achieving your dreams.

LET YOUR HAPPINESS AND KINDNESS KILL THEM

The sweetest revenge you could give to toxic people who told you to die are happiness and kindness. Being kind to them and letting them see that you are genuinely happy with your life will kill them. They would probably ask themselves why can't they have the kind of life that you have.
