The photo below is my entry for MacroChallenge Week 1.
It is the molted shell of a cicada bug hanging out on a tiger lily leaf.

This year, the Washington DC area experienced an unexpected early arrival of the 17 year cicada Brood X, which is expected to fully emerge in 2021.
