The Alternative Lifestyle Show is continuing to develop new idea for the show.
This week we are introducing a super-special feature for the show with leading homesteader @goldendawne.
Many of you will know @goldendawne and many of you will be familiar with the projects she runs to help promote and grow new people on the platform in the homesteading and gardening communities.
These projects include Holler Out Tuesday, Embracing a Homesteading Steemian, The Garden Shack and at the top of the tree The Golden Ambassadors.
The steemians @goldendawne has chosen in these various projects very much represent the cream of the crop of upcoming homesteaders and gardeners on the platform.
Dawne has just announced @walkerland as the fourth Golden Ambassador alongside previous Ambassadors @freedompoint, @beatitudes8 and @karenfoster.
Recipients of the Garden Shack award (previously Fostering a Gardener) have included @armadillocreek, @awesomehomestead, @amymya, @lilygolightly, @borrowedearth, @bowentroyer, @crowbarmama, @warpedweaver, @landarch.milica, @paskoloo, @simplymike and @goldenoakfarm
Winners of the Embracing a Homesteading Steemian have included @hethur240, @fernowl13, @freedompoint, @gardengirlcanada, @walkerland, @thefarmerswife, @frostyamber and @goldenoakfarm.
Goldendawne's Golden People
Chatting with @goldendawne after last week's show we had the idea that it would be great to feature some of these excellent homesteaders and gardeners on the show to help promote them a bit further.
So from this Friday we will be introducting the new feature 'Goldendawne's Golden People' where each week Dawne will be introducing one of her 'award winners' on the show and I will then be interviewing them.
We are kicking off this week with @amymya who was selected by Dawne a few weeks back as one of the rising gardening stars on steemit.
Tune in on Friday to hear that interview with @amymya alongside interviews with our other guests including @crazybgadventure, @movement19 and @teamsteem.
Each week the Alternative Lifestyle Show will be cover a whole range of topics including :
- homesteading
- prepping
- homeschooling
- tiny houses
- complimentary medicine
- alternative energy
- cooking, particularly low meat, vegetarian and vegan
- permaculture and organic gardening
