Canon C - Piano Cover by Ruel

Hello music lovers! I'm Ruel, your aspiring pianist from Philippines. Aside from being a travel blogger, playing musical instrument is also my hobby. Here's my piano cover of Pachelbel's Canon C.

You may be familiar with Canon D but I changed the key because C is much easier. As you know, I'm a complete beginner and I cannot read music sheets, I just listen to the song and play by ear, so I apologize for inconsistencies.

Interesting Facts

Canon D (originally known as Canon and Gigue in D Major) is Pachelbel’s best-known composition and one of the most widely performed pieces of Baroque music. It was composed about 1680–90, but it was not published until the early 20th century.

It was featured in many television and film sound tracks, such as 1980 film "Ordinary People", 1977's "Gizmo", and Werner Herzog's The Mystery of Kaspar Hauser. Later on, it became a standard in general collections of classical music.
