This Week in the Sndbox

Welcome to the 3rd State of the Sndbox newsletter! So far this week, we’ve gone into depth about our funding strategy and how we intend to accelerate high-impact usership of Steemit around the world. You can read about our membership and voting system here on Monday’s post.

Tools For the Community

Every week, we at Sndbox will package ideas and strategies so that we can share resources with all Steemians. We use these methods to quickly familiarize Sndbox members with the technology and website so they can integrate their practices as efficiently as possible.

This week, we presented an explanation of markdown and the select formatting options we use most at Sndbox to organize our public content. You can read about it here on yesterday’s Toolkit.

What to Look Out For This Week

Tomorrow, we’ll be announcing our first public workshop in New York City with our The Creative Blockchain NYC meetup group. We’ll be organizing a presentation on Steemit and a Q&A session for fellow New Yorkers. Moving forward, the Sndbox team will be developing ongoing programming every month in various locations of the city to expand the footprint of Steemit’s usership with creative and entrepreneurial professionals. On Thursday’s post, we’re looking forward to getting feedback and input on our preliminary ideas for this event.

On Friday, we’re excited to announce our first workshop with the New York City Department of Transportation for their yearly event Summer Streets 2017! This huge event will be an awesome opportunity to do outreach and share Steemit with thousands of passersby in downtown Manhattan right in the middle of Park Avenue!

Thank you for reading this week’s State of the Sndbox. Be sure to follow for all of our daily posts and weekly newsletter.
