This Week in the Sndbox
Welcome to the 38th State of the Sndbox newsletter! This past week, we talked about @kr-marketing, Cryptokitties, projects within the incubator, the @hardfork-series team, our Ripple Logo Art winners, and our new livestream series, Blockchain and Bourbon. We celebrated our milestone of 10,000 followers and put the focus on Litecoin this time for our weekly crypto-art challenge!
For a more thorough breakdown of what our members have been up to, be sure to go through our weekly Sndbox Selections of the Week and Sndbox Project Update posts that we publish each Monday.
Kr-marketing Art and Infographics
@leesol and @leesongyi's @kr-marketing project was highlighted as we learn about their short-term and long-term goals that include influencer marketing, online and offline ads, as well as continuing their distribution of infographics created specifically for the Korean market. Soon, they plan to target colleges, movie theaters and partner with companies to ultimately motivate partner institutions to invest in Steem. Read more about their plans to translate their amazing infographics so that Steemians outside of KR can also enjoy and leverage the content by visiting the post here.
Blockchain & Bourbon
We told you guys we were letting our hair down last month when we held the first episode of Blockchain and Bourbon. We are happy to let you know we are loving it and we are making the Blockchain and Bourbon a weekly webisode! We teamed up with David Abelson, veteran producer and founder of Mob Rule News, as we publicly announced our weekly livestream of this series across multiple channels including Dlive, Facebook, and the Rize mobile app. Read more about Blockchain and Bourbon here.
Ripple Art Challenge Winners
Crypto Art Challenge Round 3 on Ripple gave us a taste of Banksy, Kandinsky, Russian "Suprematism" art, Art Nouveau, and Japanese eccentric art. Utilizing Ripple and transforming it in their own interpretations with inspiration from various Art forms. Congrats to @soydandan, @aaronhong, @bombshell, @creativista and @katalinaooma who came out on top with their select artistic creations.

The Hard Fork Series is a futuristic thriller by award winning Director, Doug Karr (@dougkarr) and poet and novelist, Eric Vance Walton (@ericvancewalton). @creativecrypto talks to these two talents about building a team that will help create a disruptive new precedent for the filmmaking industry. They shared their experiences with integration of cryptocurrencies into the film, the dystopian or utopian possibilities they explored, and their goal of getting the Hark Fork Series out to introduce blockchain to a mainstream audience.
