Originally the project was a try at pushing the boundaries on my own photography, and give me a routine that might one day help me fight motivational issues. I have now passed a quarter year mark, and I feel that I'm already benefiting from the project.
Today marks a change to the project, to bring it out of a personal sphere and widen it to include other photographers too. (I've already seen a few photographers having and starting their own daily photo projects on Steem.
@GuyFawkes4-20 contacted me, and we chatted on Discord about the project, and in conclusion we decided to broaden the OPED project and invite everyone who wants to grow as a photographer to join the challenge.
This leads to our manifesto:
One Photo Everyday is not just a challenge nor just a series of posts on Steemit but it’s our way of providing valuable pictures everyday to our amazing community in order to promote the storytelling through the lens of the cameras.
Feel free to join our discord server.
We've created channels where people can find other like-minded photographers wanting to pursue a daily routine, and create their own 365 project. If you fall into motivational or inspirational problems, there'll be a channel where you may seek help. There's also a channel for sharing tips and advice in photography.
We welcome you to the project, if you want to join, post photos daily using the tag #onephotoeveryday, and if you want to challenge yourself to shooting a whole year, you can use the tag #threesixtyfive.
OPED community will be welcoming all beginners and advanced photographers! Meet us on Discord, and let's make this a big hit! :)
