"Nightfall"
This is a picture I made on 24.06.17 so 5 days ago. It was taken from on top a small hill looking down on a wavy field. It was late in the evening around 23:00~00:00.
Editing is very subjective. You might find you need to do a lot or the opposite. It really depends what you are comfortable with.
I like to edit my images a lot, but not randomly. I always try to be as precise as possible, avoid "halos" (that HDR'ish glow) to appear anywhere and really only try to bring out the details in an image while staying true to what I think I saw while taking the picture.
The difference between before and after might be really big and make some people think "photography is all fake", but you need to understand the camera sees differently than your eyes and I'm not trying to bring you 1:1 natural images.
Photography is art and so is editing.

I hope to take a screencapture of my editing and upload it to youtube next time.
Those GIFs don't do it justice. Obviously there are many steps more than that :)
