Some wider angle portrait shots of Rachelle - free photos for you to use in your own posts

Introduction

I felt like a change from all the landscape and architecture type shots I was doing lately so decided to work on some portraits.

These are some wider angle portrait shots than I usually take. Wider angle lenses can make people look a bit weird if you aren't careful but as long as you don't use very extreme angles or try to take closeups you can usually avoid that happening.

These were taken with my trusty Sigma 24-70mm/1.8 at various focal lengths. I had trouble narrowing some of the similar photos down so have left them in so that you can choose whichever ones you like.

I like the moody window lighting here which was adjusted by fiddling with the blinds and a handheld reflector (I always have one of those). The vignetting was natural due to the lighting and not added in post processing.

I have a LOT of these but they take time to process - if people want more I can edit more.

Feel free to use these in your own posts if you want as per Steemit4free.

Processing

These were processed using the "Nostalgia" film setting from Nik Color Efex Pro 4 (get it and all their other plugins free here). I wanted to go for a more vintage film look that you see in a lot of stock photos.
