Like the title says... Sky's the limit! Where we're going, we don't need rules. For this week's slam challenge, YOU decide what kind of poetry you will submit. The ONLY rule is that you must write the poetry, no copy pasting other poems! Will you submit a haiku? Shape poetry? Iambic Pentameter or Horatian ode or something else completely!?
Challenge 6: Sky's The Limit is an opportunity to step outside the box and show us how you shine!
The Technicals:
- Post your entry on your own blog and tag it #poetryslamchallenge
- Please identify what style of poetry you are using. For example, Haiku, shape poetry, prose, etc. (If you are unsure what kind of poetry it is, it is probably prose).
- Please title your entry post clearly. For example:
(Poetry Slam Challenge 6: (Title of your work)
- There are no rules regarding imagery, feel free to use public domain or images with appropriate CC0 licensing. The imagery used, however, should relate and be a reflection on your piece as a whole.
Deadline: The last day for the challenge is Friday, October 14th Midnight (UTC -4). Please exercise patience while the judges make their decisions. The results should be released during the weekend, with a fresh challenge to follow!
Good luck, Poets!
