Big apologies for the delay this week. Last weekend was my birthday and second work came in that put me completely under water.

This was the toughest challenge yet because all of you are so talented and each perspective and style is so unique. All the entries were amazing, thank you to all the participants who make this challenge what it is, AWESOME!

Please be patient as your STEEM gets transferred. It should be there within 24 hours :) If you'd like to contribute to the Poetry Slam Challenge, you can contact me in steemit chat (prufarchy), or go ahead and send some SBD/STEEM with "Poetry Slam Challenge" in the memo. Thanks for supporting the arts on Steemit, this challenge and you participants have produced amazing work and continue to inspire and impress!

This week, the challenge is to produce a poem that fits on a single or multiple image/s. Sometimes the biggest challenge in poetry is getting everything you want to get across in a limited amount of words or space. This challenge is designed to encourage you to find creative ways to combine an image with words in a way that represents you as a poet.

Here's mine as an example:

Poetry Slam Challenge 7: Sunset (Original)

The Technicals:

  • Post your entry on your own blog and tag it #poetryslamchallenge
  • Please title your entry post clearly. For example:
(Poetry Slam Challenge 7: (Title of your work)
  • There are no rules regarding imagery, feel free to use public domain or images with appropriate CC0 licensing.

Deadline: The last day for the challenge is Saturday, October 22nd Midnight (UTC -4). Please exercise patience while the judges make their decisions. The results will follow on Sunday or Monday morning, followed by a fresh challenge!

Good luck, Poets! And thanks for continuing to inspire each other, and me, with your art.
