A Strawberry-Blackberry Dessert Evening
The gourmet club just had a fun progressive dinner last night. Three houses within 5 miles of each other served as the venues for the evening. We started with a beautiful spread of appetizers at house #1, then headed to house #2 for the main dish and sides. So delicious! For dessert, everyone went to my place, house #3
I also served strawberry panna cotta in small verrines. A layer of blackberry gelée topped the panna cotta and for crunch, I added some rice crispies cracker crumbs
What an incredible looking berry dessert! I'm imaging the burst of berries in my mouth and know I wouldn't be able to control my sweet tooth with this one! What a great way to end a gourmet club dinner!

Omelet Of Potatoes To Spring- Step Bby Step
Today, I come to share the recipe of our typical "tortilla de patatas", but this time I decided to incorporate some ingredients that besides being nutritious, will bring to this dish a beautiful colorful and a texture without equal.
To enjoy these succulent "tortillas de patatas a la primavera"
Eggs and potatoes! This is one delicious looking omelet!
Definitely a filling way to start your day.. or maybe as a quick and easy dinner.

Fruits And Veggies Monday- Farmers Market Spotlight- Curried Vegetable Lentil Pasta
Today I am highlighting one of my favorite vendors at the farmers market--Straight From The Backyard Farm. There are really so many wonderful local farms represented at my market (rated one of the best in the state, how lucky am I?). Going consistently almost every Saturday this year has really helped me get to know a little bit more about each of them. They all bring some amazing produce to the table (literally), but I am especially fond of that one
Look at all that fabulous pasta! And the lentils!
Can't you just imagine a spoonful of this delicious looking dish?I bet your mouth would explode from the curry flavor!

Steemit Sandwich Contest Week #60 - Murder by Banana Honey Cheese & Coconut Chia Crumpet Sandwich
This one was a Coconut Chia Crumpet experiment and it worked, was absolutely scrumptious with crispy crunchy toasted Chia Seeds on one side and Coconut flakes toasted golden on the other side.
I had some lovely ripe Bananas, a gift from a friend's tree - no refrigeration so the flavour was really gorgeous and how a Banana should taste. I paired this with Cream Cheese, finely grated Cheddar Cheese for a touch of saltiness and drizzled it with Honey to make a Banana Honey Cheese & Coconut Chia Crumpet Sandwich
Oh I just CANNOT find anything to NOT like about this sandwich! A little sweet... a little crunch! Oh yes... please serve me up a plate!
