With seventy-nine (79) incredible entries it was an incredible round in the seven contests and challenges of the Steemit Music League.
The Steemit Music League is a community built with the goal of providing the most feedback, recognition, and rewards all while bringing Steemians together and encouraging collaboration.
As a result the Steemit Music League and the decentralized audio portal @dsound have joined forces to help bring maximum recognition, feedback , and rewards for the Steemians with musical dreams, passions, and talents.

The winner of the Steemit Music League is determined by the amount of points earned through League contests and challenges.
The points earned in Round Five are added up for this fifth release of the Steemit Music League leaderboard for Season Two.
We have had ninety-nine (99) different Steemians apart of the Steemit Music League in the five rounds so far. We thank you all for making such an amazing impact on the community. This is a grassroots community with little support from the Steemit community besides @DSound .
Below are the updated standings of the Steemit Music League Season #2 as of today
With his victory in the SML Challenge, @paradigmprospect extends his lead over the battling @mindseye-music and @d-vine.
@grizzle is moving closer to 2nd and 3rd place with his finsihes in the MSL Chalenge and Beat Battle only 37 points behind a Top Three placement.
@onemedia, @hilladigahackles, and @spawnband made jumps this round sitting 5th, 6th, and 7th place respectively with only 14 points separating them.
Then we have a group Steemians behind them like @funkmedia, @lefthouse, and @simgirl moving up the ranks with their performances this last round.
As you can see we have a lot of Steemians participating in more than one contest increasing their League point total.
With 99+ Steemians already taking part in the Steemit Music League, this is shaping up to be one heck of a Season Two of the Steemit Music League o weeeee.
The Steemit Music League Challenge is an open music contest for rappers, MCs, singers, vocalists, and producers. Basically if you have a passion for music you can submit an entry every week.
Each week's theme changes with some awesome rounds coming up. The prize pool is 15 STEEM and other cryptocurrencies such as SMOKE, Whaleshares, and Voiceshares.
The #smlchallenge is in Round Six of Season Two currently with the theme being Celtic Crossroads.
Round Five of Season Two of the Steemit Music League Challenge is accepting submissions until Monday night, March 26th with the results being announced on March 27th.

The Beat Battle League is in Round #6 of Season Two and is a Beat Battle challenge that the music producers of Steemit can produce an entry based off a theme or sampled material for that round.
This week's theme is Tropical Paradise. Prize pool is 15 STEEM and other cryptocurrencies such as Voiceshares, Whaleshares, and SMOKE.
Round Six of the Beat Battle League is accepting submissions until Sunday night, April 1st with the results being announced Monday evening (April 2nd).
