I would like to share Independence Day sports program organized by @schoolforsdg4. We organized different types of sports program for underprivileged kids during the day. I would like to share 3 parts of the event .
1. Preparation ,
2. Sports Program,
3. Prize giving ceremony.
I hope you will be with me to read all three parts of our event. As they are related and I do not want to make it complex by only one post. This will make a clear view of how we organized the sports event.
The program was organized by Road To 2030 and @SchoolForSDG4 . I would like to use the picture as thumbnail for three parts of the event post.
On 20th March, 2017
I bought some small national flags to hanging them with rope at home. Around 4 hours we worked at night to complete the tasks. My sisters helped me to make the leash.

We also made 20 T-shirt with school and organization's logo hoping that many volunteers will join and will love to donate their time in Independence Day of Bangladesh.
On 25th March, 2017
I also wished to make a big Bangladeshi Flag which kids will hold when we will sing national anthem of Bangladesh. But I found this will be more expensive if I want to make 40 feet long national flag. Later, I decided to make it myself and best way so I can reduce cost. I later calculated the flag measurement if I want to make 18 feet long flag.

I also invited youths from different part of Sylhet City and they had willing to participate the program. This was a promotional campaign picture designed by one of my students. I am in the middle with my trainees.

I asked for registration before joining the event and many youths registered filling the form.
I also posted regular promotional post in different social media and was posing that many will join as I already made 20 T-shirt for volunteers.
I was arranging meeting with school children and their mother to make the event successful. But suddenly we heard a bad news that Sylhet under terrorist attack. I became shocked. Many people was injured and it was nearly 4-5 km away from where I live. People was scared and no one was getting out without necessity. We completed our preparation and made meeting last time with kids. We introduced them about different types of sports.

I will share in part-2 what happened during the 26th March, 2017 as some of our city area was under curfew. How we organized the event.
