The first day is over and I made it through.
Though the best of the paths, I didn't find. True.
But I wasn't greedy, or crazy or nuts.
Those driving the pickup got cut down by mutts!
Others that chose to go for them all,
got a similar sad fate, not a big Arsen-al!
So alone in the dark with knife in my hand,
I'm searching for food; living off of the land!
There's plants here, I know it, to fill up my gut.
Double-checking each ID, then quietly I cut.
I hope there is plenty, and that I'm not alone.
That each player chose wisely, and each "dog finds a bone!"

A Clown Juggling Chainsaws
We all left the city behind. Some, through the GI tract.
And we trekked through the woods.
Without spook or attack.
Until at last, from the enchanted wood emerged.
To be greeted by a beardo:
"Come hither," he urged.
What to do? What to say?
I don't want to see what an overly friendly beardo thinks is neat.
I bet he's planning dinner,
and we're what he plans to eat.
Run away, or go and play,
the decision is kind of hard.
Pray beardo doesn't roast us...eyes closed, flesh charred.

The person that writes a poem for every day of STEEM-POCALYPSE will receive a 25 SBD prize. In the event that multiple people accomplish this, the three judges will go over their poems and decide upon one winner.
