1. SteemCoffee Shop Coming Soon
PromoSteem project leader @arie.steem has announced his plans to open a SteemCoffee shop in Aceh in Indonesia.
The coffee shop will be selling local Aceh coffee and promoting Steem at the same time.
@arie.steem has already rented the land for the coffee shop, and has worked with @el-nailul to develop the budget for the build and set up of the premises.
Funding permitting he hopes to be able to open the coffee shop within 2 - 3 months.
He has registered a separate Steem account (@steemcoffeeshop) for anyone who would like to support the project...

Maybe this could be the start of a global chain of SteemCoffee shops.
@cryptokraze (Pakistan) and @alikoc07 (Turkey) have both expressed initial interest in establishing similar ventures in their respective countries.
2. How Many Minnows...?
Following the recent launch of his Let's Make Minnows mentoring initiative @pennsif has been keen to find out how many Minnows (and Dolphins, Orcas and Whales) there are on the platform now.

- Redfish (under 500SP) = 1,516,244
- Minnows (500SP - 4,999SP) = 5,890
- Dolphins (5,000SP - 49,999SP) = 1,073
- Orcas (50,000SP - 499,999SP) = 217
- Whales (over 500,000SP) = 24
It is hoped these statistics can be produced regularly to provide a progress metric for the platform.
Maybe we should be targetting to have 10,000 Minnows and 2,500 Dolphins within a year ?
