The ultimate guide to Steemit part 2

This is more than just another guide! You should read it!

If you haven’t read my first guide and you're new to Steem, then I recommend you go take a look at it before continuing this one. (The ultimate guide to Steemit). I won’t re-list what I’ve list there. You might also want to take a look at the prequel here.

Both of my guide have been well received and they have receive a lot of positive comments from new users and also experimented users and are still getting upvoted.

I’ve spend many hundreds of hours learning about Bitcoin and now Steemit, more than a 1000 hours, actually for both combine. I’m not exaggerating and I’ve invested more than 100 hours learning about Steemit and that’s on the very low end of the estimate.

2 days ago, my best paid Steemit post was ranked 43th of the best paid post of the very young history of Steemit.

This follow up on the ultimate guide can help everyone, to better understand Steemit, but also to better market it.

Steemwatch

Everyone would gain a lot by using Steemwatch. This is the best tool I know, to be up to date on what is happening on Steemit. I might be wrong and I’ll be happy to read it in the comment.

It take some time to really set it right but this is well worth it. Its helping me get some good curation rewards, most of them would have been impossible for me to get otherwise.

How to use it

Go to Steemwatch.com, log in with Facebook, and then begin adding your favorite writers to the list of people you want to be notified when they post.

Steemwhales

Steemwhales.com is very useful for all sort of things! Use steemwhales.com to help you decide who you should add to get notified when they post. Rank people by post reward to see who the best paid writers are.

Add notification, to see who the top Steem Power holders are voting for. This help knowing what is happening on Steemit, what are the important post, what the legends are upvoting.

Add your name to be notify, whenever your name is mentioned, so that you know what is being said about you and decide whether or not to intervene.

Steem autovote bot

ANNOUNCE: - STEEMBOTS.COM Your Source For Everything Bot Related! - NOW HIRING

Big news: @wang's robot is fall in love, she is voting on every posts of @xiaohui

Autovote bot

Get one if you have the time to learn how to set up one, but don’t get all worked up if you don’t have one. I don’t have one and the persons who have been getting the biggest curation rewards don’t either and even those who use one I’d be surprise if they get most of their curation rewards from their bots.

Steemit.com is now Open Source

Steemit.com is now open source. This is big news! This is huge news! I couldn't pass that one up!

More awesome posts!

These aren't just post that you might want to read, if you are serious about Steemit and haven't read them, you should read them.
