Steemit Teaches You One Of The Greatest Virtues! Read How

There is no better teacher of patience on the internet than Steemit. I learnt this from my experience on the platform. Patience is one of the virtues and I am glad that everyone here is made aware of the virtue and is taught patience if they want to succeed. Learning how to be patient can bring several rewards in the form of wealth and recognition. In this post are some of the ways that Steemit shows you how to be patient.

Except for the introductory post which for some brings in a lot of rewards, the first few posts go unnoticed. Anyone who has been here a few days and has posted regularly would have experienced this. Those who are impatient may tend to dismiss the site as being too difficult to earn in and quit. Only those who are really patient experience the magic as they keep posting for weeks and months.

When it comes to followers not many follow newbies. What this means is that you must have visibility by posting and commenting regularly. Blogging every day and making thoughtful comments requires patience and those who don't have it will not gain too many followers.

True there are those who follow hundreds only to discover that only one or two follow them back. Sometimes even those followers may decide to unfilled once they see not meaningful posts or comments from the person whom they followed.

Reputation is something that takes time to build. It also becomes harder to gain reputation while it increases. Going from a rep score of 60 to 61 is much harder than going from 40 to 50. Again if you keep at it with patience more than likely you will gain reputation slowly but surely.

Many newbies who come here to make a fast buck find the 7 day wait for payout a real bummer. They just want to post something, make some money and cash out immediately. I suspect they are not too interested in investing in Steem Power either. You need to wait for your money and if you want bigger money you need to wait even more till you gain in credibility and reputation.

Learning the various aspects of the platform and all that the site has to offer does not happen in days. You need to be a part of the community for some time and understand many things before you claim to have understood the Steemit way of life.

It takes patience to reach out to others in the community through interactions on the site and other channels. To be successful in any community you have to be an integral part of the community by your contribution and participation.

Last but not the least Steem will reach great heights in the future hopefully in the near future. It will increase in value manifold - but yes patience is needed.
