Looks like our intrepid Sir Pheli (who was just feeling pretty smug, after his murder, resurrection and getting supplied some great gear and dragon-who unfortunately disappeared in sea water) has been marooned on the shores of Enedwaith. He is battered and all his gear and provision have been lost but luckily he is not alone, and will need to continue his quest with his new allies.
Sir Pheli crawls to his knees and surveys the area. His friend Sir @Silvernova is close by and he seams to be awakening as well. Another knight is also sitting now, he seams gallant, but only time will tell. Close by are two female warriors, one appears to be trying to awake the other with a bottle of ambrosia.
Sir Muxxy the third knight speaks first "We got this!" in a reassuring tone to the alert female warrior. She seams saddened and forlorn, but the reason for this will have to be revealed later.
The second woman finally awakens, and the first rushes to her, they embrace. They obviously know each other Sir Pheli thinks. Sir Muxxy goes to there sides, he must also know them. "Oh great" Sir Pheli thinks, "There all friends, we must be cautious." Together they all notice a dying dragon.
The sight of it, brings back a flood of memories. The storm, the dwarf trade ship, the rescue. Sir Pheli rushes to the group to pay his respect. He knows the dragon and it's rider rescued them. He owes them a debt. Everyone seams to be gathering themselves.
"So, I guess we need to bury this thing?" Blurts Sir Pheli, feeling quite awkward and not sure how to approach all this.
"This thing! Is Shaduppaurface, my brave Ice Dragon Companion, who helped save your worthless life" Retorts the second women. "He's been with me since birth"
"I'm sorry" is all Sir Pheli can say, he's off to a really great start here.
"It's okay, we've all be through alot" interjects the first women " I am Princess Loki, and this is Baroness Bearone, this gentleman here is Sir Muxxy"
Sir Silvernova has joined the group and this time, and further introductions ensue. It is revealed that they are all on the same quest for Excalibur and decide to work together. They have all heard the same visions from @Sirknight.
"Well we're going to need to get some equipment and food if we're going to Edoras to seek out the assistance of King Théoden" Suggests Sir Muxxy. " And I think someone needs to go see what we can salvage from the wreckage of that ship"
"I can get some food and shelter for the night" Sir Pheli chimes, "I am a man of humble beginnings and spend much time on the land"
"That is great Sir Pheli, please have the Baroness assist you. We shall check the wreckage" Says Sir Muxxy.
As the others proceed to the wreckage, Sir Pheli thinks "Shit, I better try to make up for that dragon remark earlier"
"So tell me more about your adventure thus far M'lady" Asks Sir Pheli. "and I'm really sorry about my remark earlier"
"Don't worry" replies the Baroness, "The adventure has been fine, I just hope they find some drink on that damn shipwreck. It's been over 24hrs now since my last drink and that's just too long. Especially with everything we've been through."
With that Sir Pheli reaches into his pocket and presents the Baroness with a coin from his pocket. (Well not a coin, since it doesn't have a government issued face value, but a token or medal).
"What is this? And why would you carry this?" Asks the Baroness.
"Just know, that I know how your feeling, and drink is not the answer" Reply's Sir Pheli, and with that he seams to have got through the baroness's guard.
Turns out they are two kindred spirits on this path together. They chat jovially as the Baroness collects some wood and Sir Pheli teaches her some simple trap setting techniques. Together they find a cave for everyone to spend the night, and collect some roots and berries to prepare a meal for the group. The traps were a success and they also have fresh meat to feed there hungry bellies. When everyone else returns with the spoils from the wreckage Sir Pheli and the Baroness are watching the sunset together.
So many question still need to be answered;
What did they find in the ship?
Are Sir Pheli and the Baroness really falling for each other?
Will they bury Shaduppaurface?
What will happen next?
