Travel - France - Paris Part #4 - The Louvre

On our third day in Paris we decided to tackle the world's largest art museum, the Louvre Museum (aka Musée du Louvre in French). Situated on the Right Bank of the Seine river in Paris' 1st arrondissement, it has over 38k objects and an area of over 72k square meters!

The museum is truly epic and around any corner you can bump into a famous (and very expensive) piece of art. Some paintings and mosaic walls are massive and so detailed it takes quite a bit of time to admire everything. We saw the Mona Lisa which, in my mind, was a lot less impressive than many of the other art pieces. In truth, the museum was to much for me and after 3 hours of walking we have not even covered half of it. We started looking for the exit (sortie in French) and it took us more than 30min just to get out.

Tell me what you think and stay tuned for more!
