I believe most of you may think that Zurich is the capital city of Switzerland but it is incorrect. Zurich is the largest city but Bern is the capital city. I made the same mistake before planning my Switzerland trip as Bern is not as famous as Zurich, and I had never heard of Bern. It was Easter holiday, all the shops are closed. There was nobody on the street except tourists. [PS: Be careful when you plan your trip, don't plan it on the holiday, most of the European countries citizens will not work]. To be honest, there is not much to visit in Bern. If you have a tight schedule and prefer seeing nature stuff, it is definitely fine to skip it. In addition to the holiday effect, I am bored and very regretted not to spend one more day in Zermatt (my next stop).
我相信有很多人會認為蘇黎世是瑞士的首都，但其實是錯的。蘇黎世是瑞士最大的城市但，首都是Bern才對。在我計畫瑞士的行程之前，我沒有聽過Bern，並同樣認為蘇黎世才是首都，因為論名氣蘇黎世的確比Bern大得多。我到Bern當天正好是復活節假期，所有的商店都沒有開門，整條街道除了遊客就沒有其他人，十分冷清。老實說，其實Bern並沒有什麼東西值得去看。如果你的行程十分緊湊，而又比較喜歡看大自然戶外景點，你絕對可以跳過這個城市。在假期效應下，這個城市更為悶，更令我十分後悔沒有花多一天的時間在下一個景點策馬特身上。
