Hello fellow steemians!
It is my great pleasure to announce the winner of my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday. I would like to say huge thank you to all the participants for their great entries. The number of entries this time around was not very high but the quality of the submitted images was stunning. The advantage of not having too many entries is the higher upvote for the submitted images.
You can see all entries and participants at this post: 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - African Wednesday week #11- the absolute winner takes 150 SBD!
Please give a huge shout out to the participants taking part in the challenge for sharing their photos and experience with all of us here on steemit:
@extremejogging @wachera @axeman @exposez @travelwithus
It would be great if you can visit their blogs and give them some of your love:)....
However, the winner is only one and that is for me picture posted by @exposez with the following entry:
This image was made in one of the parks north of Maun, near Savuti. This one had more flexible rules allowing us to leave before dawn was completely up. That's what allowed me to take this image before the sun reach us, a few seconds later. We were looking for the leopard but this herd of Impalas on this ridge caught my eye.
I have visited @exposez blog and upvoted post called: US AIR FORCE. Kindly do the same if you can. @exposez great picture from Botswana is qualifying for a weekly challenge that will be competing against entries that will be coming over the period of next 3 days and the winners of previous 3 days:
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Asian Sunday week #11 - winner announcement!
@vinceboisgard Asian Sunday entry:
This is a view from Kawah Ijen, a volcano located near Banyuwangi in Indonesia. After I climbed to the top and went down into the crater during the night. This was the view I had on my way down as the sun had just rised. Sulfur smokes and fog, other volcanoes and dead trees still standing on the edge of the volcano.
7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #11 – winner announcement!
@animebros Australian Monday entry:
The Great Ocean Road is one of the top 5 places to visite in Autralia and it really is not hard to see why. :) These are two of the Twelve Apostles, soft limestone pillars formed by erosion from the Southern Ocean. They are called the 12 Apostles but there were never 12 only 9 at the beginning and since one collapsed in 2005 only 8 remain.
@axeman Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans entry:
Do you think this picture is taken somewhere far north where is always cold? Not this time. This could happen even in Europe and it is actually taken at Baltic Sea, Lithuania during some quite cold period of the winter. Sometimes even here we have temperature dropping to -20 and still with very high humidity. When you even getting some ice under your nose when breathing :)
The winner of the weekly challenge will be selected by you based on the dollar value of the individual daily winner announcement posts and then entered to a monthly and possibly yearly challenge on the way to win the price of 150 SBD in total. You can give @exposez your support by upvoting this winner announcement post.
My next challenge is coming shortly: European Thursday. Get your pictures ready:)....
