The day after bowling game was second day of the kick off meeting, which finished after lunch. I had early day off so I worked from office to Tokyo Station. On my way, I saw a Post office. I decided to check it out.
It was not big, but not crowded too, maybe due to the fact that it was during office hours. As expected, there were not much to see, so I went to the session where stamps for sell were displayed.
There were some interesting stamps, like video game characters, cartoon chaeacters, etc. Stamps with traditional designs of course were the majority.
Just wrote down code of the stamps you would like to buy on the form as well as quantity, then hand in the form at designated counter. Staff at the counter would get the stamps you wanted and let you settle payment there.
I bought a few sets of stamps, in total ¥3,900. Overall experience was smooth and nice. Except for the time needed to wait for the staff to get the stamp sets, there was not other delay. I believe if you're a stamp collector, you should be quite happy in Japan.
