I like Japanese Skewer very much and I would like to have one Japanese Skewer dinner everytime I go to Japan. This restaurant was one of the best in Shinjuku and I’ve been here a couple of time already.
我一向喜愛日式串燒,每次到日本都會吃一次。而這家肯定是新宿最好之一的串燒餐廳,我已經幫襯過多次了。
It located at second floor of the building where you had to walk up the very narrow staircase, which was barely enough for one person to pass through. It was very popular and I normally need to wait for a seat no matter what time I arrived. That's why I had time to read the notices at the door, which made me realized that there were 4 other branches in Shinjuku.
這餐廳位於大樓的二樓,只有一條狹窄的樓梯作上落之用。由於非常受歡迎,基本上每次到來都需要等候。 亦因此令我細看了門上的告示,從而知道原來在新宿這餐廳還有另外四家分店。
I was led to my seat at the countertop, right in front of where the raw food was stored. Had a better look at the restaurant, it was very small, in total around 20 seats.
不久之後我就被帶到廚房旁的吧枱位置,正正對著儲存食材的冰箱。仔細看看餐廳,就發現原來只有大約不到20個座位,比較細少的一間餐廳。
Just like other restaurants in Shinjuku, there were English menus for tourist like me who don't know Japanese.
跟其他新宿的餐廳一樣,這裏亦在英語的餐牌。專門為不懂日文的遊客而設。
In fact, I didn't need the English menu as I knew what I want. So I just placed ordered and the first thing came was my coke!
已經幫襯過幾遍,我已經不需借助英語餐牌了。所以我很快便點了食物和飲品。最快送到的卻是可口可樂!
Then the skewers came in well managed orders, probably because I was sitting right in front of the chef, so he knew when should next round of food went to me.
接著串燒便有次序的送到。似乎因為廚師看得到我吃東西的情況而決定何時給我送上下一輪的食物。
The skewers were very good, however, be sure to eat them with tge special homemade spicy sauce. The sauce just made everything taste much better! Don't miss it!
串燒本來就已經十分美味。但原來再加上這樣自家製的辣醬,所有串燒的味道就更上一層樓!所以這個辣醬是絕不能錯過的。
After you ate the skewers, you should put the sticks in the bamboo tube. This was my result after the dinner!
每個座位都會有一個竹筒讓食客放置用完的竹簽。這些就是我當晚的戰績!
Nice tradtional Japanese food in a traditional Japanese restaurant, I will definitely come again!
能夠在這傳統的日式串燒餐廳吃一餐美味的日本傳統美食,我當然還會再次光顧啦。
