Hey there my Steemit friends! Carnival is a big deal in all of Latin America. If my memory serves me correct I believe Rio De Janero Brazil is where the biggest parade and parties are for this holiday in the southern hemisphere. I know it's big in the city of New Orleans in the my home country of the United States. However here in Guayaquil the largest city in Ecuador and economic engine of the country, they party hard too!
This parade was a lot of fun to watch. You can see in the photo I have my umbrella open as it was drizzling during the entire event. Trying not to get my camera wet, hold the umbrella and get good photos turned out to a bit of a challenge. I definitely am 100% "Travel Pro" with over eleven years of experience living out of a back back! But I'm new to photography and only started this hobby since joining Steemit about eight months ago.
I got a few videos of the parade too and my camera picked up the audio pretty well, make sure to click on the video and you'll really see what it was like to be there. Lot's of music, costumes, dancing, and people having a good time! Now let's check out the Carnival Parade in Guayaquil Ecuador!
