Hey there my Steemit friends! How would you like to live in a place where this is more or less your front yard? To the residents of this town even the furthest houses away are just a five minute walk to this incredible place. Imagine being born here? Imagine living with the sea lions is all you know?
Well, that is a reality for the approximate 10,000 residents of this main town called Puerto Baquerizo on the Island of San Cristobal. It's just every day life. Technically called Shipwreck Bay; this beach, port, bay, and main hangout for the sea lions is right along the "melecon", or main street and center of town.
Shipwreck Bay is not only fun to be around where you can observe the zoo like atmosphere of the sea lions this is where you would board a boat to neighboring islands. This bay really is the center of activity on the island; and the sea lions certainly get a front row seat. Now come along and let's have another look around!
