Node.js's Github Repository
Project Details
Node.js is an open-source, cross-platform JavaScript run-time environment that executes JavaScript code outside the browser.
Node.js brings event-driven programming to web servers, enabling development of fast web servers in JavaScript. Developers can create highly scalable servers without using threading, by using a simplified model of event-driven programming that uses callbacks to signal the completion of a task. Node.js connects the ease of a scripting language (JavaScript) with the power of Unix network programming.
Contribution Specifications
Node.js is currently being translated into 33 languages. I´m contributing to making this project accessible to the Spanish speaking community online.
The progress of the Node.js project is rapidly increasing day by day, 151,223 words have been translated so far in the Spanish folder of Node.js, which amounts to a total of 14% done in regards to the completion of the translation of this big project (1,000,000+ words!)
Translation Overview
The terminology of the text translated is mostly related to computer science and programming.
In this part of my contribution for Node.js, I continued translating the http.md folder, as shown in the following images:

These are the concepts and words I've learned so far while working on Node.js:
Callback, Addon, Compile, Array, POSIX, Hook, Instance, API, Resource, Promise, Embedder, Exception, Stream, String, Method, Class, Recursion, Handler, Listener, Padding, Flag, Integer, Appending, Polling, Timestamp, Truncation, Kernel, Symbolic Link, Unix Epoch Time, Debugging, Stack, Header, Client, HTTP, Peer, Frame, Socket, Routing, Tuple, Boolean, Proxy, Packet, Argument, Protocol, Port.
These are the concepts I learned while working on this contribution for Node.js:
1 . Computing
Computing is the process of using computer technology to complete a given goal-oriented task. Computing may encompass the design and development of software and hardware systems for a broad range of purposes - often structuring, processing and managing any kind of information - to aid in the pursuit of scientific studies, making intelligent systems, and creating and using different media for entertainment and communication.
2 . Parsing
Parsing means to make something understandable (by analysing its parts).
For programming this means to convert information represented in one form into another form that's easier to work with. This is done by partially analysing the data, understanding its underlying structure (by making some assumptions based on what you're expecting to see), and then explicitly representing that structure in the code.
Languages
The project's source language is English and it was translated into Spanish.
Besides collaborating as a translator for Open Source Projects on Crowdin I also work as a Freelance Translator for a law firm in the US, I've been working for that company for 9 months, translating sworn statements and legal documents from English to Spanish and viceversa.
Open Source Projects I've worked on and contributed as a translator:
