A Steempunknet Weapon Portrait: How to do Ouch!

This is a description of the weapons that are currently implemented in Steempunknet. None of them have descriptive texts at the moment.

These are my proposal for weapon item texts.

Lady Ada’s Pocket Revolver

Lady Ada was a real Lady. That often meant she had to defend herself from too heavily energized admirers. This little revolver could be hidden in anything and a certain gentleman insists the Lady had a very special place to hide one of those in.
Whatever there is truth in that story or not, the little gun is a nasty surprise for everyone it shots at, since the revolver includes an automated precision aiming system with integrated movement prediction.
And Lady Ada was good at math!

Ponzi’s Shotgun of Multiplied Pain

This Shotgun works with hundreds of small bullets filled with literally nothing, a vacuum, that implode inside the body they hit and cause incredible pain. It is unknown who invented this type of bullet, but they are extremely popular with debt-collectors and similar people, who do not want their customers killed but prefer to inflict a lasting impression.
Nearly useless against armored targets, one of those shotguns can clear a stadium of people – or at least of people standing.

Pascal’s Phaser

Also called rainbow gun, this energy weapon is highly deadly for any target. It uses light of different wavelengths, shooting them in a staggered way (phased timing) so that the “hills” of the lightwaves hit the target at the same time, multiplying the power.
Everything hit is heated up instantly and behaves like a melon in a microwave (Do NOT try that at home!!) and that includes all types of physical armor.
A weapon feared by everyone, especially the cleaning ladies.

Scrap Revolver

Contrary to it’s name this piece is not junk, it just shoots scrap metal. That makes it extremely versatile in the lower regions of Ground Zero or the Dark Zone. It is a lot easier to find scrap metal there then real bullets!
Of course this versatility comes with a price. Neither damage nor accuracy are very high. Still way better then trowing pieces of scrap metal!

Stud Gun

Do not confuse with the Nail Gun! While basically the same item, this one is the variant that should not be used if you want to put up some pictures. It is a militarized version that can use several types of ammo for different purposes, including stunning.
Since the bullets are shot with pressurized air the Stud Gun is sometimes used by assassins who prefer a more silent and less messy gun. They then make it look like the target disappeared after hiding the corpse.

Finn’s Sniper Rifle

Finn was a 12-year old Skyground-born aristocrat who loved guns. He also loved shooting them. Even more he loved shooting the Midcity Mayflies, as he called the people living there.
After getting a serious thrashing from his father after shooting the maid at the door with a shotgun, Finn decided to play it safe.
Smart kid that he was, he taught himself how to improve the guns available to him until he had a custom-made sniper rifle that could shoot Mayflies in the night at a distance of more then two kilometers while still being light and small enough to be carried around in his school bag.
Nobody found out until the day Finn got a really bad mark.
