Comment It | Update 1.1v | New Functionalities, Added Colors, Removed Bug And Much More..!
I'm Back here with first update. I have done and changed alot of things in this update. Let's get to them one by one but first if you don't know what is "Comment It" then here's a short passage from my project's introduction post.
Comment It is a simple commenting system that allows people to use this as a base to start making or converting this commenting system to your custom designed commenting system. The other use of this plugin is that we can simply use this as a standalone comments plugin. At the moment the plugin allows user to create comment with the help of using email address and username. Person can also like and dislike comment. This is also very fast and doesn't take time much to load.
Now that you know what comment it is, let's focus on how much more development I have done on it. By the way you can check my first from here. Here is the list
- First change is that now both thumbs are gray and when you like or click on them they turn blue or red like on Facebook and when you unlike or undislike they turn to gray again.
- Improved liking functionality. Now like and dislike functionalities are working way better.
- I encountered a bug that the plugin was not compatible with some themes but now that bug is also fixed.
- Users can now delete their comments if they want to.
- Changed the replying system, now it is like a forum.
- Edited the documentation.
- Major Update!
What Is Forum Reply System?
As the name suggests "Forum Reply System" is the reply system used in most forums. I hope below screenshots clear your confusion.
Major Update
You'll be wondering what does major update include?
Now you have settings where you can change at which place you want to show like or dislike buttons. Whether you want to show only like or only dislike, whether you want to show dislike first or like and much more options!
Note You can access the plugin's settings from the drop down menu of comments in back end of WordPress.
What's In Next Update?
Next update is also almost complete, it will be up by tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Anyway, in the next update you'll be able to change like and dislike to much more! Right now I am in process of making templates for it.
The things I have in mind are that you'll be able to change like and dislike to
- Happy Face or Sad face
- Tick or Cross
- Heart or Broken Heart
Maybe I'll add more pre-made template. You know what that means! You'll be able to add your custom templates.
