Creative Writing Challenge - Task #6 - What if... - The Seed

What if you were to plant a seed? What if it didn't matter what type of seed it was? Seeds can be euphemisms for many tangible and intangible things, so what if the seed was an idea or thought planted deep in our subconscious?

Source

What if that seed took nurturing and care to grow? Wouldn't it be worth the time and effort needed to help the seed grow and flourish?

What if, by caring for the seed and helping it to sprout, the idea or thought were brought out of the subconscious and into the conscious, where it can receive the sunlight of your attention?

What if the attention you pay to the sprout were to help it begin to produce leaves and buds? Would the progress make you excited for more, would it increase the determination to see the growth process through?

What if the seedling were to become injured or damaged in a way? Would this in anyway lessen the drive to nurture and grow the seedling?

What if you were to find the seedling you had helped to grow were now a small tree, with all its branches, leaves, and flowers in proper shape, color, and form? Would you be willing to share the tree with the world, to show the world the amazing creation?

What if the world chose your tree to be the primary focus of its energy? Would you be willing to give up your tree to the world to allow it to be shared with everyone?

What if I told you that every thought you have is that seed that will become a sprout, a seedling, a bush, and a tree? Would you be more careful and aware of the thoughts you allow yourself to focus on? Could you live your life with that concept always in mind?

This is my entry for Creative Writing Challenge - Task #6 - What if... put on by @steemfluencer. The details of the task are as follows.

The background story:

As you already know, today I was thinking about the future of the Creative Writing Challenge. I told myself: What if... it turns into a regular format with seasons. And then quite unexpectedly BOOM! I caught myself thinking about the what if phrase itself. I thought, why not suggest you guys writing a what if story.

After some tweaks here's how the final version of the task looks like:

Rules:

Write a 'What if...' story that develops gradually. Try reaching as much stages as you can, but don't be a perfectionist. Anything beyond 10 stages will be considered as unnecessary. The goal here is to help your creativeness expand to new level through a chain of related аssumptions. What's doesn't look as possible at the very appears like quite probable at the end.
