Cont. from Part Twenty Seven or Story Start/Part One if your just joining

Fire streamed from the cloaked mans hands, a curtain of fire formed and like a large wave it rushed quickly towards Nathan.

He could feel the intense heat growing closer by the second…. more curiously he could feel it consuming the air as it raced towards him. He couldn’t think what to do...but surely water would defeat fire?

He asked and nature magic responded creating his  own wall, a wall made of water. It appeared from the moisture in the air as a watery sheet, smothering the flames then splashing down leaving a puddle before seeping into the gaps in the floor.

The shocked on lookers seemed to be cowering in  the corner now and he swore he could hear someone whimpering.

The church floor was now a mess, the floor boards smashed and cracked, some charred black and others were soaked with water.

The cloaked individual appeared shocked and his face changed to one of anger.

“What manner of trickery is this…this is not a  valid challenge, you have no magic… just tricks!, you and who ever is  involved in this trick will be punished..and I will walk on your charred  remains”

“I know nothing of this challenge you speak and I  don’t believe in tricks” replied Nathan, pulling on the cloth around  his neck and  revealing his magic shards bright green glow.

Seeing a shard seemed to enrage the cloaked man further and he raised  his hands again. This time a bright glowing white ball appeared, it looked liked he was preparing to attack again.

The white light the beginning of a  super hot flame,  erupting into two streams of intense fire, they spread across the stage and  dropped and spiraled towards him like two giant fiery snakes.

It was not a threat, the floor board removed... it was now much easier to connect to large amounts of water.

To be sure he used more mind  strings and connected to the air as well asking both water and air to help and nature magic provided.  A fresh explosion of water appeared and a suspended sheet of ice formed, he added his inner energy to release it and the strange sheet of icy water traveled rapidly towards the cloaked man.

It easily extinguished the fiery streams in it's path and hit the cloaked man with such intensity it lifted  him and threw him to the back of the room.....the man, water and ice smashing against the far wall.

“Master....he is dead” came the familiar soft sweet voice of Sharee.

He released his mind strings shocked the sudden realisation....he had killed again.
