After returned from Nippon Budokan, I went to this restaurant In Shinjuku. It is near East exit of Shinjuku station. I arrived before 11:00am, before the restaurant opened. I was thinking to have a buffet lunch which was always crowded and needed long waiting time.
由武道館回到新宿時,還未到早上11時。我在這位於新宿站東口的餐廳開始營業之前到了,希望可以吃一趟午餐自助餐。
Takano Restaurant, famous for its fruit dessert. Its fruit buffet lunch is particularly popular. I had been here a few times but didn't have a chance to try that, because the waiting time always scare me off. That morning, I thought I might be able to get a seat, but somehow, there was an event and buffet was not available.
高野餐廳最著名的是水果甜品,其中它的水果自助午餐非常受歡迎。我曾經光顧這餐廳幾次,但每次都因為排隊時間太長而放棄了自助餐。這一次以為終於有機會一試了,那知道因為有特別活動的關係,自助餐不對外開放。
I could only order my lunch from the menu again. Although it was early, there were many customers already.
最終我只好由餐牌中點餐。雖然時間尚早,這裏已經有不少客人。
My sandwishes arrived first.
我點的三文治首先送到。
Then came the seasonal offering of Strawberry and Pear parfait, only available in these few months.
接下來就是季節限定的草莓梨子芭菲。
Food was excellent, that's why I had been returning a few times already. Just one drawback, I could only try one item each time. My advise is: come with friends, order multiple dishes to share so that you could try more dishes at the same time.
這裏的食物非常美味,所以我已經回來了數次。但是一個人來就難以多試幾款食物。所以最好就是一班朋友一起來,大伙兒點幾個不同款式的食品來分享。這樣一來大家就可以多試幾種食物。
