Entrance Gate of Tanahabang Station and Strange English Terms by Official #Architecturalphotography

This one-way gateway (turnstile) only allows people to move in one direction with special tickets/cards.

On this picture, rows of gates to the left that are marked with a cross ("X") means only those who want to enter, while the row of gates on the right just to exit.

PT KAI Commuterline Jabodetabek introduces strange terms: tap in to enter the gate and tap out to exit. You can check Oxford Dictionaries for their true meanings.

Gerbang Masuk Stasiun Tanahabang

tap : A device connected to a telephone used for listening secretly to someone's conversations.
tap-in : A relatively easy, close-range putt, shot, or tap of the ball into the goal or hole.
tap something out: 1 Produce (a rhythm) with a series of quick light blows on a surface. drums that tapped out a rumba beat
2 Write or enter (something) using a keyboard or keypad. he tapped out a few words on the keyboard

Sudahlah, pakai bahasa Indonesia saja.
