Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti, the capital without a single skyscraper. It's a sprawling chaotic mass of 1-3 floor houses. Most of it are gang-controlled slums where even police won't go without having to bring along an assault team or two. While extremely dangerous, chaotic and not exactly beautiful, it's definitely an exciting place to be in. I came there to find a ship out of the island, but found just very unlikely acquaintances and non-ordinary experiences. I actually have a full-length post about that story. It can be found here:
