A very good morning my lovelies. Though Sunday Funday used to be my favorite day, since we opened our bakery, Sundays are quite busy. Wednesday and Thursday fun it is now. As long as we have some time to relax, right?

With the Summer Holidays and lots of people traveling its a mini high season right now so I expect a lot of people to come to our tuk-tuk shop today.

Time to power up with a yummy green morning drink and jump on my bike to drive to Kampot and open our shop.

CHIA SEED CITRUS PINEAPPLE GREEN MORNING DRINK 🍍🌱🍊

INGREDIENTS (SERVES 2)


2-3 cups fresh spinach
2 oranges, peeled and seeds removed
1.5 cup pineapple chunks
2 tbsp chia seeds (optional: I added some extra chia seeds as a topping too)
Goji berries (extra optional topping)
1.5 to 2 cups water

DIRECTIONS


  1. Blend spinach and water until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend again. If the smoothie is too thick for you, add more liquid base. If you have a high-speed blender you can throw in everything at once.
  2. Top with chia seeds, goji berries, or other superfoods you like (optional).
