Saturday is cheat day! Yaay! š š If it's cheat day, it means I have to bake something sweet and delicious, without counting the carbs! It's my fun day in the kitchen!
Here's my easiest and simplest fruity cake recipe: the old fashioned pear cake. This cake is sweet, soft and crumbly with a pleasing pear flavour. The batter is easy and quick to make, just simply whisk all the ingredients in a single bowl, pour the batter into a baking pan and arrange the pear slices on the top. Pop the cake into the oven and bake for 20 minutes. While the cake is baking enjoy the sweet smell coming from your oven!
If you're a pear lover just like me, you'll love this simple pear cake! š š Enjoy!
