Do you like tomato?

I do. I mean tomato as fruit, not "vegetable". Yes, people usually treat tomato as vegetable. They add it to salad or as ingredient of any cooked food. But tomato actually is fruit as written by Concise Oxford Dictionary:

tomato
n (pl tomatoes)
1 a glossy red or yellow edible fruit, eaten as a vegetable or in salads.
2 the South American plant of the nightshade family which produces this fruit. [Lycopersicon esculentum.]

I found this bunch of tomatoes in a supermarket in Bogor, West Java. They were big and look delicious. I thought it would be good to take a photo of them.

Aku suka tomat sebagai buah. Ya, ia dimakan bulat-bulat seperti apel dan durian, bukan sebagai "sayuran" yang dicampur di sayur, masakan berkuah, atau masakan lainnya atau sekadar ditambahkan ke makanan tertentu.

Kata Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia Edisi Ketiga (2002):

Saudara-saudara, tomat itu buah, bukan sayur. Maka, perlakukanlah dia sebagai buah, sama seperti strawberry dan mangga. Bahwa dia enak sebagai campuran sayuran, itu lain persoalan, bukan?
