Poetry Digest Fourth Edition

Welcome back to the freewrite Poetry Digest sponsored by @FreewriteHouse brought to you by @wandrnrose7.

We continue to revel in our talented freewrite poets who enter this prompt weekly. I've had the privilege of reading the amazing poetry of great depth of spirit and poems that are light and fun as I surf the #freewritepoetrydigest tag. I find others under the regular #freewrite tag. Please remember to tag with #freewritepoetrydigest for easier location.

Here are some of our favorites this week.
If the chosen selection is past payout, please visit a more recent post and share a vote and comment. It will help our hardworking poets!

If you find a poem past it's payout time (7 days) please vote on a more recent post of the author. A vote on an expired post does go back to the reward pool and has no benefit to you or the author.

For our next edition, we are celebrating Spring and if you would like to pair your freewrite poetry with a current prompt with the added word prompt blossom (or use it alone) your poem may be featured in our next Poetry Digest edition! Please link your blossom poems in the comments below!

Without further ado, here are this week's curations for your reading pleasure!

@marcoriccardi pulls us into a trolley ride of contemplation in this poem laden with rich imagery and sensory detail. Included is the Italian version! Bravo!

A well placed repetitive line borne of the freewrite prompt hook is used artfully by our poet @mylittleblurbs.

Often loss sparks renewed commitment to our goals. @starzy shares a poem based upon the freewrite hook to share aspirations given to her from her beloved father.

We had a ridiculous amount of fun reading this freewrite poetry shared by @thetimetravelerz about an unusually happy aunt!

We will think with more depth when we see bamboo again thanks to @raj808. His emotive poem Forest - A Meditation in Poetry utilizes a deeply meditative quality fused with beautiful imagery.
