Game Mode On! #003: Monster Hunter Character Creation

January 26 marks the release of Monster Hunter World on the PS4 and Xbox One and every gamer has heard of Monster Hunter. Monster Hunter has almost always been a hand-held console so I never had the interest to play it. It revolves around hunting for monsters either solo but better with friends. I didn't think I'd get this game solely because I never maximised playing the timed beta demo and the only friends I know who were getting this game were Monster Hunter Veterans. I wasn't sure if I could keep up or have the luxury of time to play what with my day job and posting regularly on SteemIt!

But thanks to my husband who gave me the nudge and nod to purchase the game and in return, create content with my experience playing Monster Hunter, I pre-ordered the game 5 hours before the official launch. Can't call myself a gamer if I don't game right?

So here's my first clip, the best part of all RPG games nowadays, Character Customization. Think of it like Sims meet . I spent a good 20 minutes or so creating my character and my Palico and then realizing after, during cutscenes that my character looks creepy as hell. Right after that I created another character, spending another 20 minutes before embarking on my first mission. So far I am getting the hang of things, learning the world of Astera but still button mashing when it comes to hunting. Gotta get back at it!
