The Interview Showcase #15 - Exclusive Talk With Ukrainian old time Steemian /Country Representative

Hello, Folks,

It's The Interview Showcase!!!. This is the 15th Edition of “The interview Showcase”. A lifestyle program that comes with many educational values. A weekly interview of top users/users in the blog concerning some trending topics on the Steemit platform. And tips that can help other Steemians to progress positively and help boost the Steem’s growth. It will help you to get to know more about Steemians around the globe and even Steemit itself.

I take time to look at some of the most important topics in the blockchain and I have a chat/call with top Steemians who have a greater idea about those topics.

They also share some tips that are able to help other users to understand the blockchain and make use of it in a correct way.

So this week, I flew down to Ukraine to meet their country's representative, don't ask me how I entered there because I won't be able to answer...😃. Alright, guys, that was a joke.

JПривіт Олеся, ти розмовляєш англійською..?

So, I put a call across to Olesia and we were battling with the English Language and Ukrainian language🤣, gosh...! that was danm funny. But Olesia is better than me, at least she can speak a little English, the only thing I know how to say in the Ukrainian language was Дякую тобі 🤣.

Please follow along as I interview @olesia. Olesia is the Country Representative for Ukraine, and also an admin in Ukraine on Steem Community. Despite facing some challenges, she still keeps blogging on the platform.

You need to hear how we were struggling with our different languages 🤣..

:Hello Olesia, it's nice to have you on my Interview Showcase today, how will you describe your yourself?

🔶Olesia: Hey Ubongudofot! Very unexpected, but nice to be on your show. As far as I understand, you are a Journalist. Wow, I'm flattered by your attention to my humble person! Thank you! How would I describe myself?

40 years old, looking like 35years 🥰..

Hmm... An ordinary resident of Ukraine, the average population. I am 40 years old, although my friends say that I look 35. And it pleases any woman when the wrinkles on her face do not betray her age. 🤡 Clown in a skirt! Always cheerful, positive is my motto..

Ubongudofot
:Hmmm, that sounds Impressive..!!

Ubongudofot
:How old are you in steemit ? And how will you describe your experience on steemit so far?

🔶Olesia: I have been on the platform since 2017. Experience is learned in action. I wouldn't say I'm overly experienced. Initially, my goal was to get acquainted with the world of cryptocurrency. To be honest, I'm still far from it. I write for the soul, I participate in competitions. I run contests!

By the way, I invite everyone to participate:@olesia/contest-or-color-palette-or-red-flowers
My experience is first of all discipline. I tried every day to write at least one post a day, to comment on everyone who is interesting to me. And there are many interesting authors on the platform!

Ubongudofot
:What has been your biggest achievement on steemit?

🔶Olesia: Orca. I have been working towards this goal for 5 years. I'm probably going to keep going. But I will be modest, I would like to turn into a whale🐳. Although, this will take many, many years.

I want to be useful, for example, by hosting contests. Often authors simply do not know what to write about. And when there is a choice of contests, the questions "what to write about" disappear by themselves. Contests, and interaction with authors, are my small achievement..

Ubongudofot
: Would you say that your community(Ukraine on steem community) has been doing well since it was created ..and in what sense?

🔶Olesia: In our. I will correct you. This is not my personal community. By the way, I invite all authors to join:
/trending/hive-145157

We will be very happy! I have a team: @andrea.boji, @antorv, @dmitrik. These are my golden people, time-tested. They always keep their finger on the pulse and help to develop our community.

The idea of the community is to create one place where all authors from Ukraine would gather. We also have a curation account, we are trying to grow it. We vote for authors from this account so that they have an incentive to write, and grow with us.

Ubongudofot
:How have you Contributed to steem growth in your country?

🔶Olesia: I personally told all my friends and acquaintances about the platform. I will not list nicknames. I will say one thing, today there are quite a lot of active authors. They came at my invitation and are still writing.

Ubongudofot
:Ukraine on steem community is much of diarygame activities, do you think other publications can be added to the community to attract more readers?

🔶Olesia: Of course! And it needs to be done! For example, not so long ago we discussed the idea with the team of 01 curator and now I have launched the Shopping Game contest. To date, this competition is only for Ukrainian authors. We'll see what comes of it. And if the competition is appreciated by the authors, it will be wonderful! We are considering the possibility that the Shopping Game will be available in many countries.

In the meantime, the experiment is individual for Ukraine. Since there is a war in the country and we want to reflect in the posts on how things are in the country with products, prices, logistics, and so on. I think that all residents of Ukraine will be interested to see how things are in other regions of Ukraine.

Ubongudofot
: You seem to have been doing great on the platform, what advice will you tell other Users in your country to make such great progress?

🔶Olesia: Thank you. The first and foremost rule is desire. When there is a desire, there are ways. Above all, be active and friendly. Write comments to each other, and participate in contests. The more authors you get to know over time, the better for you. And for this, you need at least write, respond to comments, and somehow interact with authors from other countries.

Ubongudofot
:Despite the challanges faced by Ukrainians presently do you think they are doing well on steemit?

🔶Olesia: With the advent of the war, many authors simply do not have the opportunity to write. It's hard mentally. Not everyone has the opportunity and desire. War makes its own adjustments. It is clear that many Ukrainians are depressed, and forced to move to another country. There are authors who no longer have a home. They once had a house but now, there is none. It's all scary and sad.

Ubongudofot
:Despite facing war situations, how do you cope with your daily activities while still carrying out your duties as Country Rep and Moderator in your country?

🔶Olesia: And you know, when I feel bad, I write! It's like talking to someone. I'll speak out in my posts and share my thoughts... It's getting a little easier. In my city it is more or less safe, you can live, but the war still unbalances. Endless sirens, sounds of shelling, prayers so that people don't get hurt, reading the news, experiencing... We have our own chat. Imagine, in this chat we have a roll call! After each shelling or rocket arrival, we ask each other - is everyone alive? And so far, thank God, everyone I know is responding. It's very scary and touching at the same time. God forbid that you do not know this, peace to you all!

Ubongudofot
:which user will you like me to interview in my show and why?

🔶Olesia: How about multiple authors? I'm interested in everyone!😂 Here, for example, @sultan-aceh. I know that he helps people. Considering that we have a war in Ukraine now, I can understand that help is very important to many people. But he helps in peacetime! That's interesting.

Also, this author @pennsif. I call him "red fox". He silently comes, votes for posts, and leaves. Mysterious character. It would be interesting to get to know this author better.

Yes, many people are interested. For example, my team members: @andrea.boji, @antorv, @dmitrik. Unlike me, they know several languages, have cool specialties, and each one is interesting in its own way. I know them, but others may be interested..

Her favorite 🐈..

Ubongudofot
:What do you like doing in your leisure?

🔶Olesia: Ahah, stroke the cat, eat lots and lots of chocolate and embroider! I love cats, sweets, and needlework. My mother has a cat Tom, I often walk with him. Animals somehow magically give me peace and balance. Especially now, that there is war. And needlework has been my passion for 15 years. I sew with beads or thread.

Ubongudofot
:Which Ukranian music was popular when you were a kid?

🔶Olesia: When I was a child I listened to foreign music. Then it was very fashionable to listen to foreign performers. And I was a fan of the Greek artist Yorgos Mazonakis. Do you want to listen? Cool song!!!

And I can name a lot of Ukrainian performers. But I will focus on Kuzma Skryabin, Yurko Yurchenko. Oh, these were the sex symbols of Ukrainian girls in the 90s 😂. Here is their work:

Ubongudofot
:Do you have any message to the steemit team..?

🔶Olesia: stay active, friendly, and most importantly, I wish peace to all of you! When a person looks death in the eye, it's scary. Everything else is the little things in life!

Ubongudofot
:What can you say about the Interview Showcase, do you think it is interesting and should be continued?.

🔶Olesia: It's a good idea to get to know the authors better! @ubongudofot I wish you many interesting interviews!, you are such a great guy, thanks for inviting me.

Ubongudofot
:Thank you very much Olesia for coming to my show, it was actually great sharing the good time..?
