Cover Designed by me

I guess you love what you see? I mean the cover design...smiles. Well I deemed it fit to give y'all just a tip of the iceberg. By the way the design you see was made from scratch to finish using one of the very common design app you know.Let me quickly get into the business of the day before I bore you with the story behind the design...lols.

Introduction

Am Dibie Christian but go by the name @lhorgic on steemit. I would love to teach GRAPHIC DESIGN for SEC season 20. I have been into Graphic design for over 5 years now, it's actually an hobby and a source of income for me. I started my design journey with Photoshop Software, designing great stuffs for individual and organizations and later Switched to Mobile designs, utilizing Canva app.

I have once shared this knowledge on my blog and those that followed then can attest to how proficient and knowledgeable I am in this field. My goal has always been to create simple but classic design. I believe I can also impact this same knowledge into people that are willing to learn this art.

I have decided to leverage on this #teaching initiative to reach out to a wider audience with my skill and help them learn this awesome skill that won't just be an hobby but a live changing skill that can serve as an additional source of income to them both on and off-chain with my well detailed style of teaching.

Course Content for the Period

Graphic Design is a field that is indeed broad, but for the sake of the limited time we've got, I have decided to come up with something I call a Crash Lesson which should give us a remarkable result at the end of this six weeks, journey...Yeah!

Here is my course content for the period of six weeks.Trust me, It was carefully designed to take an absolute novice from being one into becoming a Good graphic designer.

Week 1: Introduction to Graphic Design and Principles.

Week 2: Colour Theory and Application

Week 3: Typography

Week 4: Hands-on Practical Design 1

Week 5: Hands-on Practical Design 2

Week 6: Hands-on Practical Design 3

Note: The First three weeks covers the theoretical aspect + a bit of practical which would show student how to navigate the design tools and carry out basic and fundamental operations needed for the next three week which will be pure practical...where student will be creating full fledged designs all by themselves after diligently following lectures.

A little of my portfolio

I deemed it fit to show y'all some of the previous design I've done and shared even on the platform with well detailed and comprehensive steps on how the designed were achieved from scratch to finish. Below are some of them with their corresponding link as proof. I think my work speaks for itself.

I believe my student will be able to recreate/create nice and mind-blowing design if they diligently follow the lessons from week 1 - 6 because it a kind of build up lesson taking them from one progressive stage of learning to the other.

What will be needed for the course

• Canva App.
• Background Remover (remove.bg site)
• Time and Attention.

I think it's important to mention that any nice design app can do these designs but I decided to choose Canva because many of us on the platform use it already and it also doesn't cost much to download it...for those who do not have. Moreso I chose it for the sake of uniformity and ease of assessment.
