How to find copyright-free images

copyright.jpg

I recently opened a competition. The instructions were to write a 6-word story and accompany it with a copyright-free image. Some of my favourites had to be disqualified because the images were not labelled for reuse.

Here's a quick guide on how find images that are free from copyright

Warning

If you're Google-phobic, you may want to look away now.

We need an image featuring a funny cat. Let's go...

Type 'funny cat' into Google search.

Click on 'images'

Click on 'tools'

Click on 'Usage rights' and scroll down to 'Labeled for reuse'

What you're left with is a range of images that have been labelled for reuse for any purpose. These are safe to use in your Steemit blogs.

Don't forget, next time you enter a competition.
