Hello friends,
I am going to be continuing on the series"The attribute of God" which i started last year. I will be talking on the compassion of God which we are all enjoying under his grace.

God is Compassionate

Compassion is a deep, heartfelt emotion that involves feeling deep sorrow for another's suffering and misfortune. But it goes beyond the feeling of identifying with the afflicted. True compassion is willing to take action to help a person in need. It is a character trait both of God (Deuteronomy 30:3; 2kKing 13:23) and of His Son, Jesus.
For this reason, God expects an attitude of compassion to be part of Christian's life (Matthew 18:33; Luke 10:33).

Out of His compassion for humanity, God provided the only effective means of forgiveness and salvation through the life, death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ. In the same way, Jesus show compassion for the crowds when he delivered His good news to the poor, healed the brokenhearted, announced freedom for the prisoners, gave sight to the blind and released people from their spiritual oppression (Luke 4:18; Matthew 9:36)

Be compassionate to others, seek to help people at all times and your need will be meet.
