(PT) Nesta sexta quero falar-vos do Carma, e de como recebemos de volta tudo o que damos. Com fotos, claro :)
(ENG) This Friday I wanted to talk about Karma, meaning we get back the same way we give. With photos, of course :)
(PT) CARMA
Karma, ou Carma, em português, vem do sânscrito karman, um termo extraído das doutrinas bramânicas com o qual se procura interpretar a lei de ação e reação no domínio bioquímico e, nas religiões da Índia, significa a sujeição ao encadeamento das causas*.

(ENG) KARMA
Karma (in Hinduism and Buddhism) is the sum of a person's actions in this and previous states of existence, viewed as deciding their fate in future existences*. Karma also means destiny or fate, following as effect from cause.

(PT) Hoje é muito utilizado para expressar um certo sentimento de fatalidade, de fado, no sentido de que tudo o que fazemos, de mal ou de bem, recebemos de volta. É a lei do retorno. Numa linha do tempo, o futuro é sempre uma lei do retorno em relação ao presente e o presente é uma lei do retorno em relação ao passado. Recebemos o que damos. Quanto mais damos, mais recebemos. E ao darmos, ao darmo-nos aos outros, estamos a abrir caminho para romper barreiras e recebermos de volta.
(ENG) Today is widely used to meaning that whatever we do, we will collect the same way. It’s the law of return. In a timeline, the future is always a law of return in respect to the present, and the present is a law of return in respect to the past. It’s getting what you give: if you're mean, you get bad karma, if you're kind, you'll get good karma, and good things will happen. I believe that the more we give, the more we shall get in return. And by giving, our good deeds will pave the path to break down barriers and get good things back.
(PT) Isto não deveria ser segredo para ninguém, mesmo para aqueles que não acreditam no karma. É até desdenham dele ou desconfiam de quem pratica a bondade sem olhar a quem, por um simples ato de amor ao próximo.
Faz-nos bem dar, acolher, reconhecer. É bom ver que um sorriso gera, quase sempre, um sorriso.
(ENG) This shouldn’t be a secret for anyone, even for those who disbelieve karma. Or the people that do good around them, just for compassionate reasons.
To give, to accept, and to recognize heals us. It’s wonderful to see that a smile brings a smile back most of times.
(PT) Que, se dermos o melhor à nossa volta, o mundo se transformará num lugar melhor.
E nós também ganharemos com isso.
Porque a felicidade reverte para nós.
Experimente.
Espalhe, derrame boas energias à sua volta.
E deixe-se contagiar por elas.
Pela lei do retorno.
(ENG) That, if we do our best around us, the world will become a better place.
And we will get our share too.
Because happiness reverts to us.
Spread, pour good energies around you.
And allow yourself to be contaminated by them.
By the law of return.
