Spread the Happy! #ManifestChallenge Day 5

Creative visualization is effective- just ask the Olympians, successful businessmen and women, and others who use it to achieve their goals. However, it is important to remember to remain grounded.

Thoughts Become Things is a tantalizing mantra, but it does not mean you don’t have to put in the work!

It’s easy to get lost in fantasy. You start visualizing your dreams and suddenly find yourself easily slipping into a fantasyland of outcomes other than your goal. Like your 30 day goal is for $3000, but your imagination, the mystifying and magnificent jester it is, goes off… but $3500 would be even more amazing… and I’ll get to buy that new computer if… Stick with your goal when visualizing. Yes of course better can and often does happen!

I like to use the phrase This, or something better, now comes to me easily and effortlessly, for the greatest good for all concerned after my visualizations and written affirmations. This covers my subconscious bases and leaves room for that something better so my mind does not try to be tricksie and head into fantasy land ;)

And be realistic with your visualizations. $3000 is achievable in 30 days. Unless you win the lottery, $1 million is... well, you know what I'm getting at, we are staying positive ;)

😊

Day 5

We are going to start this week out on a positive note!

Your challenge for Day 5 is to spread a bit of happy!

Smiling is proven to lift your spirits. Try it next time you are having a blue day- put a smile on your face, whether you’re alone or out, and watch as your mood is improved! It really works!

And it is terribly contagious! Today, smile at everyone. Yes, even that not so nice co-worker at the office. And take note of how the atmosphere and how it changes. It’s profound!

Also, make a point to perform at least one Random Act of Kindness.

Help someone who is struggling with an armful. Email a thoughtful and caring paragraph to someone who deserves it. Stop the overworked intern and let them know you see the effort their putting in and thank them. Help someone with a stroller through a door or down the steps. Give a compliment to the barista who always makes your coffee and your first morning smile.

15 seconds can make someone’s entire day.

Start this week right by being the positive change you wish to see in the world. I promise smiles are contagious :)

Continue to meditate while visualizing your goal twice a day. Either in first or third person, whichever feels right. And if you have time, writing your goal on a sheet of paper twenty times is very very powerful. Heck- make the time. This is your life! You are investing in you!
