Welcome
Hot on the heels of N.3 comes magazine N.4. Mainly because a lot of new writers have appeared, but also because I wanted to announce something I hope you will find exciting.
Rewarding Featured Articles
One of the new features on chainBB is the ability to split the earnings on each post; this is known as Reward Distribution. Anybody can do this, say you are co-writing with a friend or posting on behalf of someone who doesn't have the time, you can split the article rewards with them.
In this case, I am sharing the earnings from this post with all the Featured Authors below. As they usually number just 6 or 7 articles, I shall allocate each person 4-5% of earnings. If the number of featured articles increases in the future, I may adjust this down to 3%. Remember also that these figures are percentages of earnings received after the deducation of 25% for curators and 15% to support the development of chainBB.
I hope you are all excited about this! This is a fairly new feature, so those of you who have been featured recently but have not been equally rewarded, do not worry; I shall add another of your best recent posts in the coming weeks so that you too will receive some benefits.
Remember that this is a benefit, not a right, the amount of money will not be huge, so anybody begging to be included is likely to have eliminated themselves for consideration. Luckily, the mathematics community has been largely civil and cooperative.
And Finally...
As always, every new Magazine will have #math as the main tag followed by different selection of tags each edition. Also, I have updated the list of Regular Mathematics Content Creators and of Occasional Mathematical Authors. This means that past contributors are promoted even if not highlighted every week.
Please leave comments as to how you would like this to develop.
Help math-trail find the best
This math-trail has only been recently formed and already I can sense some established Steemers getting a new lease of life to publish more in this field. However, this means I'll need some help from the rest of the community to curate all future output. Mathematical articles are being published across over a dozen tags, including art, crypto, puzzles, science and a confusion of typos!
If you wish @math-trail to follow you, and possibly include your work in future editions of this Math-Trail Magazine then let me know in a comment to Call to Content Creators with Mathematical Topics - Math-Trail Wants to Follow You! [v.2].
If, on the other hand, you discover a great article that does not use any of the #math tags and you would like me to resteem it, then there is a new chatroom at Discord called mathematics-trail
OK, I will have other things to ramble about in the future. For now, please enjoy the selection of articles below.
