Welcome fellow Steemians, this is the first part of a series of articles I will make regarding some myths and taboos that affect us even today and we need to eradicate because they can cause unnecessary conflicts with some people.
Todays myth is: “Money is evil”
Source
Sadly, people who think this don’t really get the fact that money is nothing more than a tool to exchange goods, in which said goals certainly makes having money a good thing. But they key thing here is to take into account the real important thing is the goal.
This goal can be life milestones like buying a house, or more simply things like buying food, a car, being able to afford entertainment like going to the cinema, or to a club, music festivals, buying gifts to love ones, being able to travel the world and get to know other cultures... you know what I mean.

These things represent the real value for which we work and discipline ourselves on a daily basis, and given the fact exchanging goods for goods is not practical at all, money is necessary in order to simplify our day to day interactions with other people. Money is good! And notice when I say money I include cryptocurrencies!
Of course, there are some people that use their money for bad things, but we can’t make the mistake of generalizing like that, because saying money is evil just because there are few “bad” rich people is like saying all poor people are robbers or beggars, none it’s true.
The bottom line is, by facilitating comercial activities in an orderly and practical way between people, money improves the prosperity for all!
