I know, every week I say the same thing, What a week! And this week is no different! What a week! I have lots to tell you this week so let me get right into it! ecoTrain have launched two new initiatives that are both fun and engaging for you... our eco minded family.
Question Of The Week
The first initiative is our question of the week. This is a collaborative effort where around 10 of the ecoTrain passengers answer the same question from their own perspectives.
Last week we asked, "What is Freedom, are you Free?" This produced several great articles, one of which was written by @markwhittam. This was a tense article about his flee to Finland to escape potentially having his children take away because he home schooled them. We can only imagine how hard this must have been for @markwhittam and his family and are very happy for them all that things are starting to work out and they are all safe. It was lovely to see how much support they got from the entire Steemit community, and we share in our support for Mark and his choices. Many of us have made the same decision and i can personally testify that the very many children i have met who are home schooled are some of the smartest and amazing children Ive ever met!

ecoBug Challenge!
Our second initiative is starting next week. This is called the ecoBug challenge! Very simply, we will all go outside and find the coolest looking bug we can find, and take a picture of it! Then we will all post our picture and see what crazy bugs we can find. We will then invite you all to join us and also do the same. We will have a small contest and offer 5 SBD to two people who send the best pictures in! The ecoTrain will vote and decide and the winner will receive an award directly in $SBD.
New Passengers!
We also have several wonderful new passengers to welcome on board. SO a big shout out to @heart-to-heart our new vegan specialist (and much more) , @quinneaker (walking the talk and sharing his sustainable life with us in so many amazing ways), and @rieki who knows exactly what one-love means! These are three amazing people in their own right, all doing many things on the theme of "Things that make the world a better place"
So here are this weeks highlights. I have chosen the best of the best this week so as not to overwhelm you! I also try to keep a nice balance of themes and ideas so these links should provide something for everyone!
